Who Are We? Costa de la Luz Homes S.L. is a well-established, fully registered Spanish limited company, but at the same time it is a family business where we all work hard to make you feel at home and help you find the right property, be it in Chiclana, Alcalá de los Gazules, Paterna de Rivera, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Vejer, or wherever. You won't get any hard selling here, we just show you a range of quality real estate, answer your questions, give you our best advice and then leave it up to you to decide whether you want to buy through us.
María José was born in Cadiz and has many years experience (in Spain and the UK) both in Customer Service and as an estate agent. Roy is María José's husband and, although born and raised in Somerset, he has been around the Costa de la Luz area for over 25 years. María usually handles Listings and Sales while Roy's background as a translator and editor makes him the ideal person to handle the fine detail often associated with the backroom work (contracts, mortgages, etc.) as well as acting as your interpreter for your private contract and completion. Over the years we have got to know a lot of people in this area, some good and some bad! We know the right people to get things done but we also know the cowboys so we can steer you away from them and safely through the minefield of buying real estate in Spain.
In Paterna we share offices with a local agent so it is best to ring or email in advance for an appoinment.
Unfortunately (for us!) our local rep. Matt and wife Debs have decided to pursue their careers as teachers in the Middle East so for the moment all enquiries for Paterna, Alcalá and other inland areas will be handled through our Chiclana office.
